DESIGN Our house was never designed like “just another house” Mr Adil Ahmed carefully studied our needs and likes and designed the house keeping every detail in mind.. The design n the interiors r exceptionally modern, simple n minimalistic.

The highlight of the house is undoubdtedly the courtyard, abundant use of skylights and glass tat literally opened our house to the outside. Natural light has touched all cornrs of the house .Iam sure this is not the easiest of things 2 achieve in our locality wher houses r closely placed. The house has a very open feel 2 it, with every room beautifully placed and done.The interiors, apart from lookin gud is extremely convenient n user friendly ( though v cud hv done away with the sharp edges on the drawers J) The house was definitely wat v were looking fr but v surely got more .

CONSTRUCTION Construction activities are probably the most unpredictable. I guess each one faces a different situation with varying degrees of uncertainity. U jst hv 2 b lucky there.But in our case, Mr Sanjay n his team were really professional and well experienced in handling all the problems tat cropped up almost daily. Under the circumstances v were in, they tried their best 2 mk it easy fr us.

Each department was skilled 2 achieve perfection. Co ordination between various departments was commendable. Wud like 2 make a special mention 2 the marble laying n the wood works team….Almost perfect !!

Quality of construction was excellent thanx 2 Mr Sanjay who didn’t let us go wrong in choosing any material.

It wud not b fair if I didn’t make a mention of Mr Manjunathh, our engineer whose patience was unbelievable !! He even managed 2 keep our neighbours happy.

Finally the result was satisfying…a house beautifully built, money well spent and a job well done!!

We were highly impressed with the quality of work, space management and architecture. Once we met the team (comprising Sanjay, Adil, Suhail etc.,) we decided to go with Avantgarde without a second thought / reference.

When I wanted to construct first and second floor in 2007, to my then existing ground floor, I was introduced to Mr. Sanjay Kakad by my friend Mr. Subramanium. Mr Sanjay kakad is the proprietor of an architect and construction company AVANT-GARDE with an equally devoted partner Mr. Adil.

When I discussed my proposal, plan and the budget I had, the proprietor gave me a blue print of the plan which suited my desire and budget at once.

The work was handed over to the project engineer Mr.Syed Suhael, who is a smart, intelligent, honest and efficient professional. The project of a budget nearing Rs.35 to 38 lakhs was completed to my satisfaction even before the due date in the year 2008.

In these days we often hear a misunderstanding and problem between the owner and the construction company midway through the project and the project will stop halfway through. I was really lucky to be in association with Mr Sanjay Kakad, Mr.Adil and Mr. Syed Suhael, who are all experts in their own fields. I must make a mention of the gentlemen who was the in-charge of the wood work and interior decoration Mr. Chandra and the plumbing in charge Mr. Raj for their excellent job.

Now I live happily with my family for the past 4 years in the same house. But my association with the company in general and with Mr Syed Suhael in particular continues. They continue the same ever smiling and helpful attitude for any minor and sundry problems as and when it occurs even after 4 years. I am really ever greatfull to the persons who have made my living pleasure and comfortable.

Our Spanish home.. "Truly a dream come true". The design started off with a chat that we had with Adil over coffee. Adil being a master at his craft was able to simply transform what we had in our minds into the most breathtaking sketches of the elevation. He very beautifully was able to create the layout of the home and let it flow in exactly the same manner in which we visioned it. His eye for detail is unmatched and is able to vision the home at every stage. He was there to guide us in the right direction when it came to choices and would never hesitate when we needed his expert advice. Adil is a perfectionist when it comes to his buildings and that's what you get at the end a home truly built from the heart with every detail exactly the same way he pictured it in his brain.

At this point we have to bring to focus the man behind every brick laid, who steered the entire project so meticulously...Suhael!! How could we have crossed the finish line if not for his impeccable program management skills. The goto man who would patiently help us with our questions. Was there to support us in all our choices. Suhael was literally the support system through the construction of our home. He made the entire construction experience so seamless and enjoyable.

There was a beautiful camaraderie among the entire Avant Garde team who have the best working chemistry. The team created and built by Sanjay and Adil. The professionalism they bring to work is evident on a consistent basis.

Our heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Avant Garde in specific Adil, Sanjay and Suhael for making the design, construction and completion the best experience ever. We are truly grateful to have worked with you on our home. Thank you once again for the master piece Adil!!

Looking back, from the time we demolished the old home, to the present day when having moved into a perfect dream home, one can surely conclude that building a home is not an easy task. The whole experience from opening meetings, drawing up plans, concluding plans, commencing the initial execution was such a satisfying and assuring experience. Most of the build, was carried out and monitored during my absence, when, by virtue of my profession, I was sailing on the high seas.

Despite several communication issues owing to distance, keeping different time zones and other issues, was constantly updated with photographs on the progress and the next line of work. The build entails many different teams working in tandem, or as a relay, to accomplish a common goal. It must be placed on record that the various teams like design, earthmoving, civil, steelworks, plumbing, electrical, woodworking and painting were excellent, singularly, by themselves. That being said, it’s a pleasure to watch and observe the cooperation, teamwork, camaraderie and synergy the above teams, with entirely different skill sets, work and coordinate with each other.

Several setbacks and obstacles like COVID and other interferences did not deter the build. They forged on. The home has come out beautifully and beyond our expectations. Very ingenious ways of space saving. Practical yet aesthetically planned.This testimonial would be incomplete if certain names of good souls and efficient persons were not mentioned. My family joins me in thanking Mr. Sanjay Kakade, Mr. Adil Ahmed, Mr. Suhael Syed, Mr. Gururaj Kulkarni, Mr. Lawrence, Mr. Akbar, Mr. Rahim, Mr. Basudev and Mr. Ramu. I can't put into words how lovely our house turned out to be. It is one-of-a-kind and something we all wish for. Adil Bhai, thank you for putting up with us throughout the process and delivering such a masterpiece. The entire design and construction process went as smoothly as one could imagine. It is a happy and peaceful abode that has been designed with plenty of natural light and air throughout. The disadvantage is that "one would never want to leave the house.

Finally back to sweet home....made more sweetest by u three..ADIL/SANJAY/SOHAIL. ..Adil the exemplary & amazing designer. .Sanjay the BOSS/CAPTAIN. ...commanding &controlling everything minute to major with a strong and skilful team...Sohail the friendly neighbourhood / frontline officer taking responsibility head-on. What a combination. .not only I got a dream house. .more than that 3 new friends

Not sure where to start...as it has been an interesting journey with Adil from the time I made him aware of what I wanted to looking at the finished product. I live in London and was extremely apprehensive to start a project in Bangalore when I was not there. I need not have worried as Adil had it all in control (having done this many times I think!) We communicated on emails, calls and etc and the things that I could not decide on as I was not physically there - I just left it to him. I arrived a week before the house warming and all I could say is 'wow'. Everything was better than I anticipated. The house itself had plenty of light, air, ventilation and the highlight being the two lawns inbuilt inside the house. I got lots of compliments from family, friends and neighbours. All the colours used were pleasing to the eye and the interiors was simple and classy. I wanted modern lines and open space and got just that. So thank you Adil for reading my mind and giving me a beautiful home to stay in Bangalore.

I think I don't have to say anything about your professionalism. Your work speaks by itself.I am very much moved with your humility and down to earth approach. Whenever I meet you, its just positive energy that flows. I have earned friends for lifetime.
